Anker Introduces Soundcore Sleep A30 Earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation

Anker has launched its latest Soundcore Sleep A30 wireless earbuds, now equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC) to enhance sleep quality by reducing disruptive sounds. Unlike previous models that relied on passive noise blocking through a snug fit, the Sleep A30 use dual microphones inside and outside the ear to actively cancel noise.

The earbuds are available for preorder via a Kickstarter campaign, with full release expected in August 2025 through Amazon and Soundcore’s online store. Priced at $229.99, they are more expensive than last year’s $149.99 Sleep A20 model. Early Kickstarter backers can secure a discounted price of $139.

The Sleep A30 are 7 percent slimmer and designed to minimize ear protrusion, lowering pressure for side sleepers. To ensure a secure fit, the package includes multiple silicone ear tips, memory foam tips, and ear wings in various sizes.

Anker claims the earbuds can reduce up to 30dB of external noise. The inclusion of ANC decreases battery life compared to the Sleep A20: up to nine hours per charge or 45 hours with the charging case when playing stored white noise or sleep sounds. Streaming music or podcasts reduces battery life to 6.5 hours or 35 hours with the case.

The charging case features “Adaptive Snore Masking technology” that detects nearby snoring and generates noise-masking audio transmitted to the earbuds to minimize disturbance.

Additional features include sleep monitoring with position tracking via the Soundcore app, a private, repeatable alarm with snooze, and a Find My Earbud function to locate misplaced earbuds at night.
