Curaleaf Names Rahul Pinto President and Strengthens Marketing Leadership

Curaleaf Holdings, Inc., a global cannabis provider, has appointed Rahul Pinto as its new President. Pinto will oversee all global commercial functions and join the leadership team to support Chairman and CEO Boris Jordan in advancing the company’s growth strategy.

With over 20 years of experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) and retail, Pinto has held leadership roles at Albertsons, PepsiCo, and Bacardi. He led Albertsons’ transformation into a tech-driven, loyalty-centered retailer and contributed to strategic planning for Kroger’s acquisition attempt. Pinto holds an engineering background and an MBA from The Wharton School.

“I am excited to join Curaleaf and contribute my retail and CPG expertise as we expand the company’s global presence and innovation,” said Pinto.

Curaleaf also announced key executive hires to bolster its marketing and retail leadership:

  • Helen Chen, Senior Vice President of Digital, with experience at McKinsey, PepsiCo, and Pernod Ricard USA.
  • Scott Crawford, Senior Vice President of Retail Merchandising and Marketing, previously with Baldor Foods, FreshDirect, and Whole Foods.
  • Justin Miller, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing, who has worked with Diageo, William Grant & Sons, and Proximo.

All three executives will report to Boris Jordan and Rahul Pinto and are based in Stamford, Connecticut.
