CD Projekt has postponed the release of the Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 update, originally scheduled for June 26. The developer cited a need for additional time to ensure the update meets quality expectations.

The team stated on social media that the new update will have a scope similar to the previous 2.2 release. This prior update, launched late last year, introduced multiple new features, quality of life improvements, and hidden content including a nod to Balatro.

CD Projekt thanked the community for their patience and promised to provide further updates as soon as possible.

Earlier rumors about new Cyberpunk 2077 content surfaced after a LinkedIn post from a Virtuous developer mentioned working on undisclosed DLC for the game, sparking speculation about upcoming expansions.

Meanwhile, Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on Switch 2. Digital Foundry has already tested the game on Nintendo’s new console, investigating its performance capabilities.
