Nintendo is set to release Drag x Drive, a fast-paced multiplayer game for the Switch 2, this August. The game features unique 3-on-3 sports gameplay using the Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 dual-mouse controls.
According to the eShop listing, Drag x Drive will support up to 12 players online, doubling the initially announced team size. However, the game will not offer local multiplayer beyond a single player. Even with additional Joy-Con 2 controllers or multiple consoles, local wireless play is limited to one player, requiring an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription to join multiplayer sessions.
Nintendo also confirmed that the game will support TV mode and Tabletop mode. Further details about the multiplayer features are yet to be announced.
