An enthusiastic group of Nintendo Switch fans has created a comprehensive list evaluating how original Switch games run on the new Nintendo Switch 2 console. The fan-made database records performance changes, whether improvements or declines, based on user experience rather than official patches.
More than 350 games have been submitted so far, with detailed performance notes for over 150 titles. For example, players report that ARMS benefits from smoother framerates and enhanced dynamic resolution on Switch 2 after a free update, although loading times remain similar. Meanwhile, Diablo 3: Eternal Edition shows better frame rate stability and quicker load times on Switch 2 without any formal update.
The list’s creator acknowledges that players’ observations can be subjective, and some users have reported differing experiences. The purpose of the list is strictly informational, helping gamers understand how their existing Switch library may perform on the new hardware without making purchase recommendations.
Interested users can contribute or view the list on Reddit.
Since its launch, Nintendo has sold 3.5 million Switch 2 units in four days, marking it as the company’s fastest-selling hardware. Nintendo also addressed a known issue with the Switch 2’s battery indicator displaying inaccurately.
