Ahead of its official launch next week, leaked photos and videos have revealed the design of Nothing’s first over-ear headphones, the Headphone 1. The device features a distinctive squircle-shaped earcup with the brand’s signature transparent elements and appears to support a 3.5mm audio cable.

Nothing announced in a video last month that its over-ear headphones would debut in “summer 2025” but kept details minimal. Early hints from company representatives suggested a unique and expressive design, with distinct buttons for different controls. These features are evident in the recent leaks.

Images shared by Nothing_fan_blog on Instagram show the Headphone 1 resembling quirky cassette tapes. The headphones come in black and silver, with “Nothing Headphone 1” branding and “Sound by KEF” visible on the earcups. Multiple buttons are present for controlling music playback.

Videos posted on X by Arsène Lupin show attendees at a private Nothing event testing the headphones with a 3.5mm wired connection, which may offer enhanced audio quality and power-free operation with compatible devices.

Official details, including specifications and pricing, will be announced on July 1 alongside Nothing’s new flagship Phone 3, as confirmed by CEO Carl Pei at the London SXSW conference.
