Amazon’s Prime Day is just three weeks away, promising potential TV deals during the event. However, LG’s C4 OLED TV is already available at record low prices.
The 42-inch LG C4 OLED model is priced at $699.99, marking an $800 discount, available at both Amazon and Best Buy. Larger sizes are also discounted, including the 77-inch model for $1,799.99, down by $1,899 at the same retailers.
These last-generation C4 models closely match the newer LG C5 OLED TVs in features and quality. They support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for enhanced viewing, come with the Magic Remote and voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and include gamer-friendly specs like a 144Hz refresh rate, four HDMI 2.1 ports, plus AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync compatibility.
The LG C5 offers some improvements, such as a slightly brighter display and a newer processor that may improve performance. However, the C5 starts at $1,295, making the C4 the more cost-effective option for most users seeking premium OLED quality at a substantially lower price.
