Logitech has introduced the Flip Folio, a new keyboard case for iPad Pro and iPad Air models featuring a removable wireless keyboard that can be positioned independently for greater flexibility.
While Logitech’s previous Combo Touch case also offered a detachable keyboard, the Flip Folio’s keyboard is significantly smaller, enhancing portability and usage options.
The Flip Folio is priced at $179.99 for the 13-inch iPad Air and iPad Pro models, and $159.99 for the 11-inch versions. Availability varies by color and region: the graphite model will launch globally in June 2025, while the black version will be available only in North America at the same time. Pale grey and lilac variants will debut in September 2025 in select regions, accompanied by a sand color limited to North America.
The wireless keyboard measures just over a quarter-inch thick and weighs under 207 grams. It magnetically attaches to the back of the Flip Folio case without significantly increasing thickness. The keyboard includes iPadOS shortcut keys and supports multi-device Bluetooth pairing for easy switching between tablets, smartphones, or computers.
Battery life is estimated at up to two years, depending on usage, with power provided by a replaceable coin cell battery. The keyboard does not have a rechargeable battery or a USB port and operates solely via wireless connection.
The Flip Folio case protects the iPad front and back and connects magnetically, allowing the tablet to be positioned in portrait or landscape modes with multi-angle support. In portrait mode, the case includes extra space to support a smartphone beside the iPad, enhancing multitasking capabilities.
