Microsoft has begun testing a new feature in its Xbox PC app on Windows that consolidates games from multiple PC storefronts into a single library. Xbox Insiders can now view their Steam and Battle.net games alongside Xbox titles within the app.

This aggregated library will be available to all users later this year and on upcoming devices like the ROG Xbox Ally handheld. The initiative aims to position the Xbox app as a central hub for PC gaming, enhancing its competitiveness with platforms like Steam by unifying Windows and Xbox ecosystems.

Manisha Oza, Xbox platform product manager, said, “When a player installs a game from a supported PC storefront, it will automatically appear in ‘My library’ within the Xbox PC app, as well as the ‘Most recent’ list in the sidebar — making it easier than ever to jump back into your games.” Microsoft plans to add support for more PC storefronts over time.

To access the new aggregated library, users can download the Xbox Insider Hub on PC and join the PC gaming preview. The Xbox app also allows users to hide games from any PC storefront in the Library & Extensions settings.
