Nintendo has confirmed another Indie World showcase will air this Thursday, August 7, offering fans roughly 15 minutes of updates on indie games for both the Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.
The presentation will begin at 2pm UK time, which is 6am PT and 9am ET in the United States. It will be streamed live on YouTube.
While Nintendo has not revealed specific titles, anticipation is high for a potential release date announcement for Silksong, the long-awaited sequel to Hollow Knight developed by Team Cherry. The game attracted renewed attention after featuring in Nintendo’s Switch 2 showcase in April.
Fans and other indie developers have expressed excitement, with some offering incentives linked to Silksong news. Indie developer Pere Albacar recently promised a free Steam code for Sands of Hope if Silksong appeared in last week’s Nintendo third-party showcase, though it did not.
Additionally, a separate Nintendo Direct showcase in Japan will include an extended Indie World segment, five minutes longer than usual, which often includes exclusive announcements.
Fans can watch both events for the latest news on upcoming indie titles and Nintendo Switch releases.
