Nintendo recently revealed new details about Donkey Kong Bananza during this week’s Direct presentation.

Notably, the game’s file size has been reduced from 10GB to 8.5GB. While the change is modest, it provides additional storage space compared to other Switch 2 titles.

For comparison, Donkey Kong Bananza is less than half the size of Mario Kart World, which launched at 21.9GB. Despite its smaller size, the game promises extensive content with numerous sub-levels to explore.

The Direct also confirmed new features, including the revelation that Odd Rock is actually Pauline, a co-op mode, various transformations for Donkey Kong, and a new Donkey Kong & Pauline amiibo.

Donkey Kong Bananza will launch exclusively on Switch 2 on July 17, alongside the new amiibo.
