Nintendo has announced that Drag x Drive, a new racing game for the Switch 2, will launch on August 14, 2025. The title will be priced at $20 and will be available exclusively through the Nintendo eShop, with no physical release planned.
The game was one of the first revealed for the Switch 2 during Nintendo’s Direct presentation earlier this year, initially targeting a Summer 2025 release window.
Drag x Drive offers a unique control scheme using two Joy-Con 2 mouse controllers simultaneously. Players participate in online 3v3 matches, steering, accelerating, performing tricks, and executing plays like dunks in an intuitive driving experience.
Additional details from the eShop listing indicate a file size of 1.7GB. The game supports up to 12 players online, but does not offer local multiplayer.
