Finding a Nintendo Switch 2 remains difficult as stock is scarce across major U.S. and U.K. retailers. Walmart has confirmed a restock scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, with availability at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. Early access will be granted exclusively to Walmart+ subscribers.
Currently, no other major U.S. retailers have Switch 2 consoles in stock. BJ’s Wholesale Club has limited stock available for members, capped at one console per member. In the U.K., Amazon, Argos, Very.co.uk, and Game.co.uk report no current inventory, though bundle offers remain through specific outlets.
The U.K. options include a Mario Kart World bundle with a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription available from EE on a monthly contract. The Game Collection offers a more expensive bundle with additional accessories like the Switch 2 Camera, a 256GB MicroSD card, Cyberpunk 2077, and a travel case.
While restocks are limited, Tencent’s Switch 2 Camera accessory is widely available and offers a webcam experience for supported games, enhancing online multiplayer sessions.
To secure a Switch 2 at Walmart, interested buyers must subscribe to Walmart+, which costs $98 annually and includes a 30-day free trial for new users. This subscription is necessary for early access on the restock date.
We will continue monitoring stock levels across retailers and provide updates as new consoles become available.
