Nintendo of Canada has announced a price increase for most of its products and services, excluding the upcoming Switch 2, effective August 1, 2025. Details on the new pricing have already appeared in the Switch eShop.
According to a Reddit user, 26lcooper, the updated Nintendo Switch Online membership prices in Canadian dollars are as follows:
- Individual Membership (1 month): from $4.99 to $5.99
- Individual Membership (3 months): from $9.99 to $11.99
- Individual Membership (12 months): from $24.99 to $29.99
- Family Membership (12 months): from $44.99 to $49.99
- NSO + Expansion Pack (Individual – 12 months): from $63.99 to $69.99
- NSO + Expansion Pack (Family – 12 months): from $99.99 to $109.99
In addition to subscription services, Nintendo of Canada will also increase prices on Switch consoles, digital and physical games, accessories, and amiibo. The rise in Switch Online membership fees suggests that other product prices will follow a similar trend.
