Nintendo has announced a Donkey Kong Bananza Direct livestream set for Wednesday, June 18th at 9AM ET / 6AM PT. The 15-minute event will provide new information about the upcoming Switch 2 game.
Donkey Kong Bananza was first revealed on April 2nd and is scheduled to launch on July 17th for the Switch 2. The action-adventure title features a redesigned Donkey Kong battling through destructible environments to recover stolen banana-shaped diamonds from the villainous VoidCo group. Players will be able to break walls, dig tunnels, and explore underground areas.
Following the pattern of Nintendo’s recent Direct for Mario Kart World, the livestream is expected to showcase deeper gameplay insights and highlight key features, possibly including the new character Odd Rock.
The Direct will be streamed on YouTube. Donkey Kong Bananza is priced at $69.99 and is available for preorder now.
