Andy Judd has resigned as chief marketing officer of Poppi, the brand confirmed to ADWEEK. His departure comes three months after PepsiCo acquired Poppi for $1.95 million to expand its healthier beverage portfolio.

Judd announced his exit in a LinkedIn post, calling his time at Poppi “one of the most rewarding experiences” of his career. He praised the talented team and leadership for driving significant growth and advancing the brand’s mission to revolutionize soda for a new generation.

He added that he is taking time off to rest and spend time with family. Judd also expressed optimism about Poppi’s future under PepsiCo but did not provide further details about his departure.

A Poppi spokesperson confirmed that chief growth officer Jeff Rubenstein will now lead marketing while continuing to oversee international expansion. The company did not specify if a new CMO will be appointed.

Since joining Poppi in 2023, Judd managed all marketing efforts, including paid media, culture initiatives, PR, retail, and creative. He played a key role in launching Poppi’s first Super Bowl commercial in 2024, which boosted brand awareness by 25%. He also developed the ongoing “Soda Thoughts” campaign and the company’s college ambassador program.

Before Poppi, Judd served as chief commercial officer at Laird Foods and held marketing leadership roles at brands including Yasso, One Brands, Danone, and Campbell’s.
