Splitgate 2, the free-to-play shooter combining elements of Halo and Portal, is reducing prices in its in-game store following player complaints.

In a video update on Twitter, 1047 Games CEO Ian Proulx announced the company is cutting the cost of the $80 Nano Swarm cosmetic bundle, originally priced at $145 before a prior sale, down to $40.

“We hear you loud and clear on the store prices,” said Proulx. “The Nano Swarm bundle is being cut in half, and we’ll be reducing prices on other items as well. We will continue to monitor feedback and listen to the community.”

The developer will also issue refunds to players who purchased items at the full price.

Proulx addressed controversy around the “Make FPS Great Again” cap, clarifying the intention was to improve FPS games, not to offend players.
