Unihertz, known for its compact Android devices, has unveiled the Titan 2, a sequel to its BlackBerry Passport-inspired smartphone. The new model updates the original with 5G connectivity, a faster processor, and Android 15.
The Titan 2 is currently available through a Kickstarter campaign that has exceeded its $100,000 goal. The final retail price is expected to be around $399, while early backers can preorder for $269. Shipping is projected to begin in October 2025.
Powered by a Dimensity 7300 8-core processor clocked between 2.0 and 2.6GHz, the phone comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, measuring 10.85mm thick and weighing 235 grams, compared to 16.65mm and 303 grams previously. The battery capacity is 5,050mAh with 33W fast charging support, but wireless charging is not included.
The main display is a 4.5-inch screen with a 1440 x 1440-pixel resolution, slightly smaller than the previous model but with a higher pixel density. A secondary 2-inch screen on the back, integrated into the camera bump, offers 410 x 502 pixels and serves for notifications, widgets, and framing selfies.
